Mercy Bundi, M.Ed., has devoted her life to education, bringing more than 30 years of experience, including over two decades dedicated to supporting students with special needs.

She holds a Master of Education in Special Education from Coppin State University and a Graduate Certificate in Special Education for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners from George Washington University. In addition, she maintains a Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate (APC) in Special Education, underscoring her commitment to excellence and lifelong learning.

Throughout her career, Mercy has served in key leadership roles, including her tenure as Special Education Chair at Prince George’s County Public Schools. In this role, she worked closely with students, families, and educators to design and deliver evidence-based learning opportunities that opened doors to growth and success.

In 2024, Mercy brought her vision to life by founding Haven Connect LLC, Autism Waiver provider in Maryland. Built on the values of HOPE, ABILITY, VALUE, EMPOWER, and NURTURE (HAVEN), Haven Connect has grown from vision to reality now a thriving organization of more than 75 professionals serving over 50 families with compassionate, culturally responsive care.

For Mercy, leading Haven Connect is more than a profession, it is a calling. Her leadership is grounded in family-focused, evidence-based practices that empower children and families to achieve their fullest potential. Beyond her professional work, she treasures time with her family and remains deeply connected to her community, embodying the very values that inspired her to create Haven Connect.
