Direct Support Technician (Part-time)

Responsibilities:

Implement goal-driven and task-focused interventions.

• Support and instruct individuals in self-help skills to foster independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including toileting and behavior management.
• Provide transportation and accompany individuals to non-medical appointments.
• Document care and activities for each goal area in the daily contact log.

Experience:

• Minimum one year of experience with individuals with disabilities, or
• 100 hours of volunteer experience in a similar setting.

Education:

• High School Diploma /GED required
• College degree preferred.
• Certifications (optional but preferred):

Other Requirements:

• Clear Federal & State background check within the last year.
• Proof of U.S. work eligibility.
• 3 professional references.
• Bilingual abilities (a plus).

Driving Eligibility:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• State driving record (to be provided by hire date)..
